The GBA has designed its competitive program to help kids further develop the fundamental skills that the GBA Fundamental League focuses on. The competitive program creates the opportunity for kids to compete at a higher level and pushes them to become better fundamentally sound basketball players. This program will place teams in competitive leagues and multiple tournaments, and will generally feature one practice per week for younger teams, and two practices per week for more experienced groups. The competitive program strives to prepare them to one day be a part of the Gretna High School basketball programs.
The Competitive League season will extend from October through March.
