GBA Club Program Overview
The GBA Club Program is available for all youth of Gretna school district residents who would like to participate in basketball, but were not selected for a GBA Select team, or are not ready for the commitment required for a GBA Select team. GBA Club teams will practice once per week and participate in Omaha area leagues and tournaments. Teams are not formed through a tryout and all who register will be placed on a team, subject only to coach and team availability.
The Club program is designed for those players still working to build their fundamental skills and understanding of the games, or for those involved in multi-sports or activities and can't commit to a more robust Select program. The season will run from October to February and will consist of participating in a Fall and Winter league and participation in up to 3 tournaments (depending on grade, see details below)
Registration for the Club program will open after the Competitive program teams have been set. Players who are not selected for a GBA Competitive team will need to register for the Club program separately to be assigned to a Club team.
